EXPLORE THE UNEXPLORED
Welcome to Saturna Island, a hidden jewel in the Gulf Islands where nature, community, and adventure meet. Home to just 350 year-round residents, our community is as vibrant as it is colorful - retirees, young families, artists, politicians, entrepreneurs, designers, farmers, builders, socialites and recluses. The people of Saturna are very welcoming, and work tremendously hard to throw awesome events, such as the annual Lamb BBQ, biannual Pig BBQs and Prawn Fest, for locals and visitors alike to enjoy
Nearly half of the island is protected as part of the Gulf Islands National Park Reserve, offering a spectacular network of hiking trails and pristine beaches. East Point Lighthouse Park is a must-see, renowned as a top terrestrial whale-watching spot where orcas, humpbacks, and porpoises can be spotted year-round.
